About
I am passionate about the work that I do in helping others achieve their desired treatment goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received a bachelor’s degree in Community, Family Addiction Sciences from Texas Tech University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients who struggle with mental health challenges as well as life stressors. In my practice, I have used evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength-Based Approach, Solution-Focused Approach, Psychoeducation, and Narrative Therapy. These modalities have proven effective as I work with individuals, families, and couples. It can be challenging and scary to seek counseling and to take the first steps toward desired change. Being aware of that, I am grateful and excited about the opportunity to meet people where they are at and to help them get to where they want to be.
